It is with great pride and deep emotion that, on behalf of the Italian Federation of Billiards and Bowling Sports, I welcome you to Rome, the eternal city, on the European Senior Bowling Championship.

Hosting this prestigious event represents for us not only an honour, but also a great responsibility. This championship celebrates values that go beyond sporting competition: experience, passion, respect, and friendship among various nations. The senior athletes present here are a concrete example of how sport can accompany an entire life, continuing to unite generations and nations.

Rome, with its millennia-old history and its spirit of hospitality, is the ideal stage for a European event of such importance, and the bowling lanes will become a place of sporting confrontation, but also of human and cultural encounters, in the full European spirit.

A special thanks goes to the organizing committee, which with professionalism and dedication has worked to ensure that this championship takes place at the highest technical and organizational levels.

To all the athletes, I wish you to live this experience with enthusiasm, loyalty, and sporting spirit. May the best win, but above all, may each of you return home with the memory of a high-level competition and an unforgettable stay in our city.
